Day 4: Our trip to Stonehenge and Bath

Today, we had a very exciting day with our class. In the morning, we visited Stonehenge. We were impressed by the huge stones and learned that they are thousands of years old. It is very interesting that nobody knows exactly how people moved the stones there.

After that, we went to Bath and visited the Roman Baths. We walked through the museum and saw many old Roman objects. We learned a lot about Roman life and how the baths were used. The museum was very big and had many different things to look at, and it was nice to see so many things from the past. The funniest thing was, when some of us tried some of the water and then a guide came up and gave us first aid info about the Aquae Sulis water with sulphite.

The Roman Bath and Bath Abbey - The Lantern of the West

Later, we visited Bath Abbey. The church was very stunning and very big. We also spent some time in the square in front of it. There were many people, and the atmosphere was nice. even though it was quite quiet. While walking through the old town of Bath we saw beautiful buildings, small streets, and many historic places. It was very interesting to explore the city and learn more about its history.

Our hostel this time was much bigger and had en-suite bathrooms, which was a big relief for some of us. We really enjoyed this day because it wasn‘t so long and more relaxing than the others. We also had a lot of fun, and made great memories with our class.
